This ink is handmade in À L'AISE LTD Dorset studio using natural ingredients to a medieval recipe with a modern twist. Iron Gall ink is the perfect black ink for modern calligraphy. Traditionally Iron Gall ink erodes nibs quickly due to it's high acidity, À L'AISE LTD ink has powdered egg shell added to balance the Ph, meaning nibs last much longer. This ink has been designed for use with a dip pen.
